Dunia Plaza, Victorville, California

Our Dunia Plaza project in Victorville, California, is an expertly master-planned mixed retail development emphasizing restaurants, hospitality and power retailers such as Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart. The master-plan enabled the project to be developed in phases with each phase operating independently as well as enhancing subsequent phases as developed. The project is a joint venture with the Dunia Family and was developed over a period of approximately 7 years.

We expect the project to be completed in 2011, and to generate in excess of 400 million dollars in annual sales. More...

GVD to Redevelop Burgans Block

GVD Northwest LLC, of Spokane, has bought majority interest in the former Burgans Fine Furniture complex at 1120 N. Division for an undisclosed sum, and plans to redevelop the property as a mixed-use development.

GVD Northwest's parent company is GVD Commercial Properties, owned by developer Gerald Vance "Jerry" Dicker. GVD Northwest is the managing partner of Burgans Block LLC, a partnership that has been formed with Bruce McEachran, whose family had an ownership interest in Burgans for 90 years, to own the property. McEachran says he retains 30 percent ownership in the property.

Earlier, SRM Development LLC had made an offer on the property, but chose not to match GVD's offer, he says. More...
